okay. where shall i start? lets start with the not so nice part first.
haha hey. i know i've not really been myself these few days. i've been struggling with unpleasant stuff which totally affects my mood and behaviour. and i just wanna say sorry if i've dao-ed anyone or not answered or just walked away or seemed really unapproachable these few days. haha err some especially. i know that my "mood" is a lousy excuse to anyhow treat people but... i think if i force myself to smile and act nice it'll eventually turn out worse. so right here i wanna ask for forgiveness. if i've hurt anyone or anything or spread my bad mood to you haha! yea i need grace. EGR! extra grace required! so please bear with me till i get out of this yea? and when all things are done i'll prob go find a couple of people, really set things right. till then!
okay not so nice part is done.
on to the nicer parts!
hahaha these have been fun days! on sunday! our batch met up for a baking party at mich's house all the way in bukit timah hahaha. but ohman it was fun. can't really pinpoint exactly what was fun but it was just fun spending time with the batch, baking, messing, taking photos, singing! haha the little things like moaning about the calories (well, you're talking bout batch06 lol!), screaming when something small drops, screaming when flour spills... okay i shall list them out!
1. yes moaning about the calories from the gigantic blocks of butter and choc
2. screaming when someone drops a plastic cup
3. laughing at margie spill flour all over herself while sieving
4. cutting up gigantic blocks of chocolate with small little knives, everyone trying to avoid margie's knife LOL
5. carving batch06 on the chocolate
6. taking weird photos of fighting with knives and rolling pins!
7. singing christmas carols (loudly!) with harmonization and all...
8. marching our cake to the oven (for cremation LOL)
9. doing a dance around our little chocolate cornflakes (the ants go marching)
10. anxiously waiting as vic pokes the little plastic thingy into the cake... and cheering when it comes out dry!
11. wondering who's playing the piano cos somehow the piano keeps playing but you see the pianists coming back then you wonder who's playing cos it seems like everyone's here.
haha just spending time with the batch is great. love batch06 man.
then jolyn and i took a bus intending to drop at newton mrt but ended up missing the stop and nearly getting lost between newton and serangoon. and it was DARK la! but lucky we somehow ended up next to the littleindia mrt station so we took a train back!
singapore idol! watched jon and abit of hady's first song on the bus, then ran home while the advertisement was showing and caught the rest yay.
that was sunday!
yesterday! i went to the beach. after two-three weeks of not going... and! i brought my guitar along! at first was trying to look cool by slinging the guitar on one shoulder only, but it ended up swinging to my side the moment i got on the bike so i decided to compromise on the look and focus on safety! so i slung it on both shoulders. and because the guitar strap was short, i looked toot! hahaha man it felt really good to be cycling in the park, feeling the breeze and cool air, looking like a guai geek with a guitar slung on my back. felt like just putting a sign saying "hahaha i am a GEEK. but i have a guitar SO THERE!" AWESOME.
and the park was totally secluded. think its cos exams are coming up? hahaha but man it felt so good la. to be cycling along an empty park... no noise, just the smell and wind from the sea... as you gently nudge the pedals of the bike, propelling yourself forward. so relaxed! and most importantly... WITH A GUITAR ON YOUR BACK! whoa! ultimate coolness! hahahahahaha.
yea i already had in mind where i wanted to go so i cycled there! right at the end. ohmannnn i love the feeling. of just looking out to sea and feeling the wind all around, so peaceful and cycling cycling cycling... iloveit! looking around as you get to different sections of the park, such as those wooden thingys with vines that remind me of grapevines... and cycling under those... man.
then when i reached my desired spot... hahaha imagine! stopping your bike, taking out your guitar, sitting down on the grass and plonking it on your knee... taking out your pick, taking a look around, taking a deep breath...
and you start to strum.
you strum and sing out loud, as loud as you want, as soft as you want. cos there's nobody there to hear you.
and in front of the sea, in front of the wind, the trees, your bike... everything just seems so right.
but there was something missing. haha.
okay no more!
then today...! hahaha during math we had a chocolate party! we were eating chocs, sharing, sampling... and the choc made me happy! so i was smiling and laughing in math. yay.
and hahaha TODAY I PLAYED FLOORBALL. yea that cheered me up loads! i love floorball. actually i wanna try hockey. but i've a feeling i'm not really good at either. who cares! i can practise haha! but yea one of the teachers was a former hockey player and he was so pro! things like catching the ball in midair, dribbling and his passes! whoa! haha and i heard that pear can catch balls in midair too. oh i love floorball.
then! the teachers were having an arm wrestling contest on stage. so mich challenged me to armwrestle with her! hahaha! thus we got on the floor... and wrestled right hand first. then left hand. actually i think its not that i have alot of arm strength, its just that my wrist is strong so i force people's wrists down and their hands go with it so i'm cheating! oops. then i wrestled with elissa. and she's a leftie too! then shihui. then i looked around... and suddenly all the people around us were on the floor armwrestling too! the little secones were doing it so seriously... haha but its amusing how they all just suddenly followed us.
lol mich you're a trend-setter!
then! i went to my popo's house. and i talked cantonese! i like cantonese. yay that was fun.
its strange. how these days have been absolutely horribly rotten, yet these have been really great days as well. yup, really great :D
AND. i saw a kingfisher in school today. :)
and took the batikcloth thing out to look at just now. still gives me a nice feeling inside :) awesome, kiddo.
ciao.

haha these have been busy but tiring days... sec4s got quite alot of free time in between lessons now! but yea dunno why even though we're relatively free, i'm getting sleepier and sleepier. i sleep before 12! which is really early for me.
but yea these have been nice days :)
haha i like walking home. from the mrt station my house is about 2 bus stops away... so if its not too dark and if i feel like walking, i walk! and since e times i reach home are no earlier than evening, the air's nice and cool.
and you see e sky in its light colours, yet still deep. its like there's this kind of blue, that may be light blue, but as you stare at it and try to stare into it, you realise that its very deep. its just... so blue! haha and in the evening the sky's a range of colours. pink, yellow, blue green(!)... with the clouds being grey or white, sometimes even blue.... and sometimes you see two colours together that you'd never think would look good together, but in the sky it just seems to fit and at the same time just create this half "whoo!" and half "whoa!" feeling in you.
take for example yellow and grey! man if you look at the chinese textbook you'll see how horrible that combination can be. but once i was walking home... the sun was setting. so the yellow that came out from it was really intense, its like almost golden but its not. its just intense deep sunset yellow. then above it... there was this block of dark grey cloud. and it was like there was a line between the yellow and the grey. it was separated so neatly, so clearly. and when i saw it i was like "WHOA." awesome.
and the thing about sunsets are that they are so different! haha kiddo think i'm starting to appreciate them now... yea one day's sunsets and another day's can be two entirely different scenes. one may be intense, with all the possible strokes splashed all over the sky. another may be peaceful. one or two wisps of clouds here and there and a light pink tinge. and sometimes it can be really majestic. like there'll be this huge cloud... and the sun sets behind it. thats when the cloud gets a silver/golden lining! whoa have you ever seen it, its awesome. and you see the deep yellow sunrays shining out from the cloud.... WHOO.
haha everyone should start looking at the sky. its beautiful.
haha then on sunday. was taking a nap. the nap was pretty troubled cos i was troubled when i fell asleep. but then i woke up! because the wind outside was blowing so strongly. and there are trees outside my house, like those bigbig trees with leaflets. (haha they must be great advertisers man) okay i shall call them leaflings. yea somehow they strike me as those kinda big savanna trees. you know you know? ya and anyway there was a really strong wind.
and everytime there's a strong wind before a storm... the trees start shedding. the wind blows the leaflings off the trees! and its quite a nice sight actually, with hundreds of little yellow and green leaflings falling against the dark grey sky. and the trees rustle. love it man.
but this wind didnt blow leaflings off the tree! but whoa it was still great to watch in a different way. because the wind was like almost ravaging the trees and their leaves! those bendable trees were bending, the leaves were rustling and making alot of noise. the wind would come on so strong that just looking outside gives one the impression of getting swept away. and blow it would! blowblowblow! getting stronger and the noise getting louder...
then silence! yea it would be totally still. then the wind would come again and continue blowing! haha this continued for some time.
rahh i'm tired and sleepy now. and its 10.20?! noooooo!
ciao.

haha okay i update now!
well. hmms... what interesting stuff have been happening? lets go day by day.
teacher's day eve:
haha nothing much, had a pretty boring teacher's day eve i think. no wait. oh YES went out for dinner with pngteh! haha at pepper lunch. took lots of wuliao photos. looked dao in 90% of them. haha some of them on the escalator up and down... quite alot in starbucks haha!
teacher's day:
it was a holiday! stayed at home. hey wait no! haha i went to school! played netball... fun but my stamina's gone. haha then went to popo's house and ate a nice lunch. :) she cooks awesome.
sat:
went for band prac.
sun:
church! haha yay we played FOOSBALL! i love foosball! i like playing midfielder hahaha. but all the guys are like goalies. so yay i play midfield! somehow though when sher plays midfield opposite me, i start hitting the ball into e wrong goal. backwards. but whoa its super fun cos we're all roughly on par with each other, esp if we start playing 8 pple foosball... hahaha there's alot of wild whacking and "nice one!"s and laughter and fun and "whoa"s whenever a good goal is scored... i love foosball. but after that everyone started playing bridge. i don't get bridge so i don't play it. hahaha. played the piano as well. oh.
and uncle ben gave me his guitar! hahahaha yay. now i can practise on an acoustic guitar and kill my fingers somemore! yayyyyyyy. so excited. oh i love the guitar, love it love it love it. sometime during the exams i was just daydreaming bout playing the guitar, being able to practise it and play without feeling guilty... and NOW I CAN HAHAHA.
let me talk about playing the guit. my original one is a classical one. love it. it makes a nice sound. sounds like a guitar. hahaha the fretboard can see the wood alr. you know the fretboards of guitars are usually black? yea mine have brown areas where i've worn through the blackthingo. and its super easy to play cos the strings are plastic! but cos i'm so used to playing on plastic strings, whenever i play at church on the semiacoustic, my fingers die on the metal strings. and thus it is brilliant now that i have an acoustic to practise on and get used to killing my fingers so they won't die so bad anymore. HAHAHA so fun. but its tough. played it for barely half and hour and my fingers were sore. nevermind!
OH! and my mum bought this guit cd... whoa the songs are cool.
monday:
first day of the hols. slacked at home! hahaha nice.
tuesday:
went to east coast in the morning w pngteh. cycled. got a great deal for the bike... 11am to 6pm cost me only 6bucks. whoa. cos of competition, there's 8 cycling kiosks along east coast i think. hmms. but whoa at the end of 1+hrs... once you get off the bike you can't walk anymore.... haha cycled along e stretch of east coast twice! not bad. lol but cycling beside grace is super scary... she starts to try ramming her bike into yours... clamping you... wah. hahaha!
then at 4 met church people to blade. and we bladed. wahhhhhh i'm bad at blading! can't get used to the wheels below my feet man. hahaha fell a couple of times. somewhere along the way we stopped and played cards while tiffmikobryan went to 7-11 to get drinks. haha then we bladed somemore and i was super slow! tsk. i'll stick to cycling next time.
ohyea! mich was there too. and she was in school on fri. and we missed each other both times. hahaha.
wednesday:
today! went to borders. ohyea they're having a 20% storewide sale for students... must show your student card though. but its a good deal. everyone go buy books! bought 3 books, now i'm a happy girl. then went to my aunt's house and HAHA my nephew looks so handsome! really he's super handsome and shuai and his eyes are big and nice.
and just now! my mum bought a durian! the whole fruit! and ahhhhhhhhh it was gooooooooood. the flesh was soft and warm and nice and fleshy and sweet and just so durianish! sitting on the floor, eating durian on newspapers... thats great man. reminded me of a long time ago when i used to do that. haha but whoa gooooooooood. all the while watching spore idol. and this episode the idols sang well. jastye esp. i liked jon's first song.
okay.
ciao.
