today was fun... cos... i went out with pngteh! yayy! pgteh anyway. huiyi had third lang exam haha.
went to far east... cos was kinda broke and decided to eat far east chicken rice... only 3 bucks. and its super nice lor! the rice... the chicken... the veg... the SAUCE! love the sauce. and though the chilli was hot it was nice too. and the soup has those kiam3chai3 thingos inside... salty salty yet crunchy too. whoooo! haha eva was feeling generous... wanted to treat all of us. but being the nice pple we were we paid ourselves! haha she treated us later though... lol.
yeah we were sitting at the big table... and it felt very nice. kinda like family. where you just sit down and look at the nice food on the table and enjoy the tian1lun2zi1le4. haha! yeah pngteh is a family...
eva- papa (haha cos we call her va-va sometimes and it sounds like papa. lol.)
grace- mama (i dunno eh. cos she's so motherly? haha!)
jess- jie (real name: jieshi. need i say more?)
xinge- gor (we call her gege... so it sounds like gorgor. so gor it is!)
huiyi- mei (immature little girl lol... haha. everyone teng2 her. haha!)
me- di (err i dunno why also. cute mah.)
ahhhh the pngteh family! haha of course in 207 also had the other branches... the owners of the bonzai lodge. then got dunno how many wives here and siblings there and grandfathers too... haha love 207 loads.
yup we ate. and talked. and ate. and talked. havent done this for quite a long time... come to think of it havent gone out with pngteh for so long! yay lets make these fridays a tradition! so cool. friday's the only day where all of us are free. heehee.
then we decided to eat somemore. eat ice kachang to be exact. pngteh dessert! having its origins in the foodcourt in plaza sing... haha those days when we would go to best denki to play the xbox and try to beat my high score of 2min27sec for the car racing thing... and also sitting down and watching monsters inc on those humoungous teevees. going carrefour and sniffing all the shampoos... haha that time huiyi squirted mint shampoo into my nose. lol. oh yeah and drinking up all their free water as well! then going marks and spencers to look at more shampoo and ogle at the spagetthi sauces and star-shaped pasta. then after bout 2hrs of walking around we would get tired and head up to the foodcourt to eat ice kachang. ahhhhh.
yup and as always with ice kachang comes digging! we were practically having a geog lesson with ice kachang as an example... the 3 geoggers jess grace and me were talking crap lor. like grace digs into the ice kachang and its a notch. it widens to be a cave. then she digs the other side and the two 'caves' join, forming an arch. the arch then collapses to leave a stack. which erodes further, resulting in a stump.
so creative.

haha today was fun. lately i've been staying back in class to just hang out and talk nonsense and do rubbish with sandy rshl charmaine... haha. like yesterday. sandy brought camera. took a couple of pics. did a bit of hw. talked a lot of crap. listened to loads of songs. haha i love her ipod!
then today... today was FUNNY! char rshl sandy and me were in class... then sandy took out her cam. and wanted to start taking pics. and so we took lots of pics. SANDY IS GROSS! her ideas for pics ah... haha when i upload then pple can see that sandy is DISGUSTING! and never expected rshl to go along... man. SICKOS lah! haha.
took a couple of dao shots. dunno why now char is so obsessed with taking dao shots. keep bugging us to take again and again and again. then haha in one shot she looked like a puffed up bumble bee! lol. rshl as always looked sajiao. sandy looked sweet. i looked dao. haha surprise surprise.
then... had this idea to pretend that sandy is strangling me. so i kinda did some weird horse stance like stance on a chair... then sandy strangled me. dunno got how many retakes! cos sandy's serious expression... standing with your legs trembling on a chair while looking down at her weird expression is whoa. makes you laugh in 5 seconds. yeah took so many times! haha. thighs were super tired... couldnt walk properly when i got down.
i took a mugger pic! koped loads of books and dictionaries from pple... then piled them on the table. then pretended to be mugging. haha! mugger hil.

ahaha. funny funny. after bout one hour of taking stupid pictures... the hard work of posing, my trembling legs... sandy deleted everything! esp the one where she was err posing with rshl. took dunno how long to do?! and that strangling one also... SO LONG!
but its okay. we took more pictures. got to the poses faster. haha. took a toot one! where we all pulled up our belts and carried our bags and slouched. then i took a sajiao one with rachel. i didnt look sajiao at all haha.
yeah. and i need to fatten up! i'm too skinny! so i've given rshl the responsibility of making me fat. so today during lunch... i ate curry chicken rice, chicken biscuits and a banana. and they advised me to go pig out... keep snacking all day. ohwells. eat more carbo, then don't exercise. yeah. please lor i eat maggimee for snacks! and during the hols i take naps after lunch! aiyohs. haha nevermind shall start snacking now...
went home, ate a kitkat, drank a packet of milk and ate a slice of cheese. yayy may my bones grow nice and long and strong.
dinner. guess what. i ate curry chicken rice too. and my fav veg xiaobaicai! and ate apples and oranges.
its not that i don't snack lor. i snack. i eat maggimee and apples. and chocs. sometimes. yeah and tauhwee and tangyuan! i snack k... only my snacks are healthy thats all. they taste nice haha.
and... the reason why i don't eat much meat is cos... meat has BONES. and lazy hil can't be bothered to take the bones out of the meat. so she gan1cui4 dun take meat. eat rice and veg. most convenient. haha yay i like rice. char knows. she saw me eat 3 bowls of rice with v little liao4 before. yup. meat is too troublesome. fish also. have a lot of bones. lazy hil haha.
now hil feels full.
ahhhhh i love the 7oclock show! yaolie! xiaobailong! man he's cool! yayy like him. but he's gonna become a bad guy. when he becomes bad he not shuai anymore. but yaolie is SHUTE! ahaha. he should have a bit more liang2xin1 though. how could he abandon his own dragon clan? tsktsk.

haha today did flag day. did with jo... then chionged, asked smiled cajoled pleaded begged? in full u for pple to donate... haha wasnt as dao-ed as i thought it would be. surprising number of pple donate to flag days... somemore willingly. like i'll just be asking some person, then other pple will just stop, take out a few coins and walk up to me and donate. haha! dunno how many times i said 'thank you'. lol.
so jo and i chionged for one and a half hours. then after that we decided we were hungry and thirsty so we bought stuff to eat. then we just stood in some corner and talked. and pple still walked up to us to donate lor! so nice of them. haha there was this cute jap boy... his parents gave him loads of coins, then they asked us where taka was. so we told them. then the boy slotted in the coins super happily, so cute! kawaii. then he ran off and turned back and waved to us... ahaha!
throughout today... dunno why keep saying same things as jo. haha. telepathy? lalala. then we saw an orange cat! the first orange cat i've seen in my life. it looked nice... haha. so me and jo were like, "hey look at that cat... it's orange! it looks kinda special eh..." then... "KYO!" hahaha!
yeah and we talked. bout stuff. heehee.
then came home and napped 4hrs. about the same amount of time i get every night. haha.

haha. piano exam over. lalala dunno why lately i don't get nervous when i go for important things... like oral. i just went in and started talking in my err. 'teaching' style... quite systematic. only thing is i forgot the question lol. and even when i goof up i don't really get affected by it... i'm like,'okay lor' then move on. haha!
pieces... first piece. SCREWED IT UP. ahaha! all because of a page that didnt need to be touched. went to flatten it then suddenly my notes went all crazy. heehee! always like that one. my first piece is always the one that i bank on to like get super good marks cos i can play it perfectly. then i screw it up. lalala. second and third pieces were okay. not exceptionally good but okay.
aural. couldnt sing. couldnt really tell the chord progressions... but the rest were okay. and so was scales. and sight reading was okay too... lalala.
and.... before my exam was waiting outside the room. then there was this girl who took her exam and it was her sis's turn to take so she was waiting for her sis. so i talked to her. haha sociable hil talks to pple she doesnt know a lot. interestingly. she's from sthildas. taking psle this year. so i asked her to go raffles. she say she not good enough. ohwells. ahaha she's nice. she thought i was older than sec3. lol. according to her the pple in sthildas all very small. how true. ahahaha!
yup she's a nice girl. hope she gets into rg then i can be her senior for a year. her name's rachel. lol.
yeah actually i realise i talk to pple i dunno a lot. like that time was running 2.4 then i talked to a sec1. and found out that she took e same bus as me. !!! didnt know eh. ahaha! think sher should know her... same class. lalala.

okay. i'm sick and tired of my pride. tired of it being a stumbling block to my spiritual walk, my life, my relationships with others. so... haha i've given it to God! let Him handle it. don't care whatever happens i'll just trust God to not let my pride get the better of me. yayy!
today... gb worship! i played badly. but the worship was good. from what i could see lah. yayy... the prayer that i've been praying for so long is being answered! and the other prayer that i've been praying for... err... one day? has kinda been answered too! lalala.
yeah. i really wanna see 45th being revived. i wanna see the pple in 45th being revved up for God again! to see them jumping in worship, enthusiastic for God, to see them really listening during devotion, wanting to pick up everything they can from it... to see them being a bunch of DIFFERENT pple belonging to a different cca... in the world yet not of it. to see everyone being a living testimony for God! yup thats what i wanna see. ohwells we're working towards it i guess.
and my batch... haha are we gonna be the batch that revives 45th? i certainly hope so...
and i'm getting a headache now. blahh. dunno whats happening to me.

haha! 2 days ago when i was practising my piano there was an ant on the G key. was trying so hard to avoid it lah! but had to press that key so had to maneuovre my fingers such that it didnt squash the ant. cos when u squash an ant the alkali in their bodies stink a lot. smell artificial, like batteries. haha maybe one day some battery company will use ants to provide the alkali! lol.
and i decided to make a song. and i have! played on the guitar. its a ballad of sorts and it sounds a bit sad. ahaha! proud of it.

hmm. one should always cut one's fingernails before playing the guitar. cos i was practising the guitar... and my nails were being worn down. haha so thats what the white powdery stuff on the fretboard was. a mixture of skin and nails. lol! playing the guit turns your nails into powder!

what can i say. i'm happy!
this whole week so far... been trying to grow as much as i can spiritually and yayy i have! and this week too... been thinking bout what God wants me to do in RG. in the circumstances He has placed me in. yup hil has been thinking a lot. got a few areas i wanna work in haha... which are: class.45th.school.church.
class should be quite easy to understand lah, just go save as many pple as i can... work tirelessly!
45th. i've kinda done sth alr? may be sth small but haha i've sown the seeds! and i'm super grateful to my batch for being so enthu bout it. hil is ENCOURAGED! yeah! sent out the email hoping to get pple to start praying... and i hope pple are? ahahaha. we must REVIVE the company! stirring up a passion and desperation for God... alright!
school. may seem big. and i dunno what to do for the school as well, but i wanna do STH. even if it just means getting pple to start praying for the school... its a start! and also... to do sth bout the number of non-christians in our school. hmm hil has big plans... lol.
and this week too... i've learnt to live everyday as if it were my last. to quote ben in some ways: every person you save, treat it as the last person you're ever gonna save. work at it! the last person you are gonna save for Jesus, do your best! and every time you worship... treat it as your last worship on earth. your last worship. surely you would want to give your all to your king! the last time you're gonna be singing your heart out and dancing in front of Him on earth... every person you encourage, treat it as the last person you're gonna touch in this world! everything you do for Jesus, treat it as the last thing you're gonna do!
do not wait. what if Jesus comes tomorrow? would you wanna tell Him "sorry, but i was too scared to do all i could for You..."? would you wanna tell Him: "sorry, but i was scared and i didnt dare tell that one more person bout You..."?
imagine! He who died for you, He who desires every single person in this world to be saved, being told by you that you were too scared and you let another soul die?
haha. i've been waiting, scared to share for far too long. worried bout how i'll look in front of pple, when Jesus Himself endured total humiliation. scared to do all i can for Jesus when He has done all He could for me.

i shall write this entry in perfect english in honour of joseph toh who sings really well.
hmm. i am in a nostalgic mood. methinks it was caused by sandy; she said something that made sense. in just 10 weeks time, 70 days, we'll be sec4s. one more year left in RG, then we're leaving the school and going to RJ. i have almost completed three quarters of my time in RG, and there's only one quarter left. i don't really like it.
okay maybe i will just write that above paragraph in perfect english; its too troublesome. cannot express myself also.
yeah. in sec one i came and it was like, whoa i can't wait to be a senior! cos its usually when u are a senior when u feel most part of the school... like in sec2 u've spent one year, in sec3 you're the second oldest. so i decided. i love my sec2 and sec3 years. sec1 wasnt really that eventful, prob cos was new to the school and all that. but sec2 and sec3! the two fastest years of my life! 2 most enjoyable years too. and i'll be sec4 in 10weeks time.
man, in sec2 it was super nice. the class got super bonded, did crazy stuff with pngteh like pigging out in seoul garden, preparing a fully orange teacher's day present for mrs ho, preparing the fully green bday hamper for the august babies, having loads of fun at jess's house, writing on the wall at far east, swimming and playing table tennis... and after every half day we all confirm will go out. then at the end of the year was getting closer to mel, fighting with drumsticks, singing maroon 5 songs, going out with teachers, laughing at dictionaries and turkish ice cream. ahhhhh i miss sec2! haha. and at the end of the year i was feeling like now, only it was much stronger. can't really listen to maroon 5 the same way again.
haha and now we move on to sec3! whoa. this year has passed SUPER fast. like, it was just the beginning of the year when we went to 302, and now we're a class and moving on to sec4. but thing is not much pple to do crazy stuff with this year. i know that there are some pple who are capable of doing crazy stuff, but i'm not close to them haha. only this class has a lot of kakis to play mahjong bridge daidi and pool. lol. yup this year's class is nice, but its not really bonded enough.
and this year. yayy got 2 pple in church now who are in same school! last year wasnt close to mich at all, all our letters were crap. this year i'm close to both mich and sher haha! and of course, other church pple as well. heh heh. and my batch! ahahaha! our batch has really grown a lot closer. cool cool. yeah got to know 60th guys as well, very useful for providing photos for projects! LOL.
yah. but this system of just going up and advancing through the years is a bit... boring. its like, whats the purpose? every year you go up, 20704 gets replaced with 20705. next year 30205 will be replaced with 30206. its just this never ending system of replacement! the whole world is working like that, there is no purpose. its just going up, taking up roles that have been left behind by pple who have retired. there is no... advancement. like what is the world working towards? just replacing and taking up roles? there is no change! in the end its just... everything is the same lah. nothing new, its just pple working for their survival and dying in the end anyway. problems like terrorists may crop up, but it doesnt really affect the balance. pple continue working, moving up and blah.
so. what is our purpose? haha. it is worship fellowship discipleship ministry and evangelism. but whats the purpose of the world? we are all just part of this replacement, and trying to fulfil our purpose on this earth. ohwells it will somehow work out i guess.
haha change subject! today was a SLACK day. all the teachers didnt really bother teaching. miss neo just taught 20min of math and we slacked the rest of the lesson away. then recess. then chinese, just listen to him talk, then ended like 10min early and we slacked as well. assemby. slack. rs. slack. oh yah. applied deep heat to my aching calves. english. jotoh was in no condition to teach so with the leading of sabby, we started err gossiping bout him. not really considered gossip cos its not behind his back. dunno lah. so talk talk talk one hour gone alr.
THEN. sabby asked jotoh to sing! and he agreed! haha then she ran to 301 and got the whole class and miss neo over. but jotoh said he will only sing if someone does a duet with him. and. sabby did a duet with him! mann jotoh is wasting his time teaching! he should go sing or sth, its such a waste of talent! he has a good voice. tenor. very strong, quite resonant and he has good pitch. haha they sang 'a whole new world'. ohman its so sweet! ahhhhh!!!
indeed. it was a perfect ending to the term.
but i think that human relationships are rather temporary. agree with sher. esp with this system of replacement. you just rise up, meeting pple, saying hi saying bye never seeing them again. like this year i learn that jotoh can sing, but its, okay he can sing he'll just continue being a teacher and i'll say bye to him at the end of the year. its so... short. i dunno. haha i'm in a reflective mood! i am a mirror!
okay shall stop reflecting.
